    I have been coming here for years and I've always had a great dining experience here. I especially like the appetizers and drinks. My friends and I have always loved the chicken quesadillas and nachos. The staff is also very attentive, courteous, and helpful. I think they also have one of the best "Happy Hour" deals in Hartford.

    I love this Hartford location - it has parking! There's a lot across from the building, and auxiliary parking across the street next to an apartment building. There's also pickup parking next to the restaurant for take out and delivery drivers. You can make reservations online. Inside there are a combination of tables and booths. I went during their St. Patrick's day menu, which was very good! They had house-made Irish cream that I wish they would bottle. The corned beef and cabbage was a little overly cinnamoned, but otherwise very tasty. The baked potato soup was tasty with lots of ingredients inside. The staff were very nice and friendly. If you made a reservation just be clear about the time and number of people it's for, otherwise it may cause confusion and a call during dinner asking where you are! :⁠-⁠)

    Wood-n- tap always brings it. Great winter menu. Everything from the winter menu was fantastic. Service is always proficient. Any occasion from celebrations to I'm just plain hungry. Wood n tap has what you want. Cozy dining room and private room for larger groups available. I highly recommend warming up on a cold winter stay with the butternut squash soup pairs well with sweet beet and arugula salad. That's a meal in itself right there.. But the entrees they have like the bourbon glaze. Salmon is my go-to. Mixed vegetables and sweet potato on the side is definitely a nice flavor combination. Short rib is definitely a winter classic favorite. Especially with the mushroom risotto. And if you're a sandwich person they have you covered with patty melt They also have two desserts available. The flourless chocolate cake. Which is gluten free and lives up to its name chocolate divine. Also nice little winter classic is the walnut apple crisp. The amazing selection of winter inspirations on the cocktails as well. No matter what the season is, I definitely love a flight.... Enjoy dark cherry, winter citrus, a crisp ginger and finish it off with the classic. Margarita. Also, another favorite of the winter menu is the rise and chai cocktail. Also, the winter sangria is another recommendation.
